Mission Statement
The association's mission shall be to provide for the fees, necessary medical treatment and temporary sheltering of Boston Terrier breed and Boston Terrier mixed dogs from shelters, private individuals, city and county pounds and internet and social media sites for the purpose of providing to approved rescues for adoption through their programs into approved homes. The purpose behind this mission is humanitarian, e.g., to relieve the immediate suffering of these lost, abused, displaced or disowned animals; that allows approved rescue organizations to vet and adopt them into new and loving homes, and further to attempt to indirectly reduce the excess dog population and associated cost by means of a requirement of neutering/spaying of rescued animals prior to adoption. Other breeds may benefit from this organization if obtained with a Boston Terrier/Mix-no dog will be left behind in a bad or abusive situation. Other breeds may also be included at the Board discretion including but not limited to short nose breeds such as bulldogs, frenchies, etc.
The organization is organized exclusively for charitable under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. |
